Choeng Ek, Cambodia --About half an hour south of the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, lies a disturbingly peaceful grassy field. The killing field of Choeng Ek is one of the many places where thousands of Cambodians died at the hands of other Cambodians.
Excavated mass graves have yielded a gruesome harvest of human bones, some still covered in ragged clothes.
In the middle of the field, a glass memorial encloses about 8,000 skulls, some visibly shattered in the act of murder. Each skull, one shudders to realize, belonged to a human being, a life extinguished in an orgy of violence during the days of Cambodia's Khmer Rouge regime in the 1970s.
ITINERARY
DAY 01
ARRIVAL- PHNOM PENH
Arrivakl in Phnom Pehn, the capital of Cambodia, meet and transfer to hotel for check
in. Then visit to National Museum, Royal Palace,
Silver Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. In the
afternoon, visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum,
(optional) The Killing field of Cheoung Ek.

DAY 02
PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP BY FERRY
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Phnom Penh boat ferry for departure to Siem Reap ( 6 hours). On arrival and transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to Angkor Wat temple and Sunset on the top of Phnom Bakhang hill.

DAY 03
EXPLORE ANGKOR WAT
Breakfast at hotel, Visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, the great city, including: Bayon, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace and the Royal Enclosure.
Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Ta Prohm, Chau Say Tevoda and Thommonan temples.

DAY 04
EXPLORE ANGKOR WAT
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre temples.
Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Pre Rup, Mebon Oriental, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temples.

DAY 05
SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. In the afternoon, visit to Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake, the wonderful as we pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen. Lunch at local restaurant, then free at leisure until transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure flight to Bangkok.
